# Prompt topics

> List and manage Visibility prompt topics from the Lightsage CLI.

Topics organize Visibility prompts. Use topic commands to create prompt groups and control what happens to prompts when a topic is removed.

## Commands

| Command | Description |
| - | - |
| `lightsage prompts topics list` | List prompt topics. |
| `lightsage prompts topics create` | Create a prompt topic. |
| `lightsage prompts topics update --topic-id <topic_id>` | Update a prompt topic. |
| `lightsage prompts topics delete --topic-id <topic_id>` | Delete a prompt topic. |

## List topics

```bash theme={null}
lightsage prompts topics list
```

## Create a topic

```bash theme={null}
lightsage prompts topics create --name "Web crawling APIs"
```

## Update a topic

```bash theme={null}
lightsage prompts topics update --topic-id topic_123 --name "Web crawling and scraping APIs"
```

## Delete a topic

```bash theme={null}
lightsage prompts topics delete --topic-id topic_123
```

Add `--archive-prompts` when deleting a topic should archive prompts assigned to that topic:

```bash theme={null}
lightsage prompts topics delete --topic-id topic_123 --archive-prompts
```

Use `lightsage prompts topics list` to find topic IDs before creating prompts.
